Direct from CES Celestron Announces Ground Breaking Technology to Assist the Amateur Astronomer in their Pursuit of the Night Sky.

The Celestron SkyProdigy series of telescopes features self alignment technology that allows the telescope to automatically align itself in just three minutes.

Celestron SkyProdigy features patent pending StarSense Technology. The StarSense Technology from Celestron is unique because the only task the user must complete to align their telescope is to turn the telescope on then simply push one button on the telescope's control pad. From that point the telescope aligns itself, which takes three minutes and consequently makes it the fastest automatically aligning telescope on the market.
