Below you will find a few things to keep in mind when placing your order. We are here to help! Our Standard And Most Reliable Method of Delivery Is UPS. As we get closer to Christmas we recommend you select this option for shipment.Free ShippingWe offer free shipping on over 700 of our most popular products. Virtually all of our larger items such as telescopes, mounts and binoculars ship for free via UPS. In this case you can refer to the color coded UPS Holiday Delivery Map above and schedule below. Free Shipping offers on many of our smaller telescope accessory items such as eyepieces, filters, adapters, etc. ship via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Generally speaking any item under 12 ounces ships for free with First Class Mail. Items between 12 ounces and 3 lbs generally ship via Priority Mail. First Class Mail deliveries can take up to 5-7 Business Days and Priority Mail deliveries can take up to 4 Days.
Shipping GuaranteesThe major carriers do not offer shipping guarantees between December 12th and December 24th. This does not mean that your package will not arrive in time, 98% of the time it will. All this means is that when a package does not arrive on time UPS will not reimburse you for the shipping expense. At High Point we can not guarantee that a shipment will arrive at your doorstep within a certain period of time because we have no control over the employees, trucks, and planes of UPS and USPS. All we can do is ensure your order is handed off to UPS and USPS on time. That said, any In Stock order placed by 2:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time will go out the same day, providing it passes credit card verification. If for some reason your card does not pass verification you will be notified immediately and we will work with you to get your order processed swiftly and on the truck. PayPal and Google Payments offer the most rapid verification process.
For items that don't have In Stock status we will do everything to work with our suppliers to ensure your package ships out ASAP. However, we are limited to the inventory of the supplier and their ability to get the package to the truck in time. If we don't think your order will make it to you in time for Christmas we will contact you via email and provide a status update.
