New from Astronomy Technologies the Astro Tech 65mm ED Quadruplet Refractor Astrograph offers an amazingly flat field with its four element ED optical system. The Astro Tech 65EDQ uses an FPL-53 glass element in its triplet objective lens and has a seperate field flattenint ED singlet lens at the rear of the optical tube. This unique optical configuration is what allows the Astro Tech 65mm ED Quadruplet Astrograph to deliver an ultra flat and wide field for deep space imaging.

The Astro-Tech AT65EDQ provides an exceptionally flat and wide field for deep space imaging, with no need for a separate field flattener. While designed primarily as an astrograph, it can also be used visually with a 1.25" star diagonal and eyepieces. Because of the very close proximity of the field flattening singlet lens to the focuser, the AT65EDQ cannot be used with a 2" star diagonal.
