Bob's Knobs SCT 8" 6-Screw Thread M8-6
- Bob's Knobs Meade 8" f/10 SCT versions with six screws on the secondary housing which include LX90, LX200R, LX200ACF, and LX200, etc.
- Bob's Knobs are a black plastic material of 13mm in diameter.
- The Bob's Knobs Meade 8" SCT f/10 Collimation Knob threads are a black anodized aluminum alloy.
- Included in your Bob's Knobs order is an Allen Wrench for removal of factory collimation screws.
Provided with your Bob's Knobs Meade 8" SCT f/10 Collimation Knobs is a set of spacers attached to the inside of the dust cover on your telescope. Your Meade factory dust covers may contact the knobs when installed so these spacers attach to the inside of the dust cover to move it slightly away from the secondary assembly. For additional clearance, press on the center of the cover from the inside to contour it.
Some of Meade's earlier 8" models have a different number of screws on the secondary housing which will require different knobs. Post 2005 Meade 8" telescopes have three screws on the secondary housing which require different knobs.
