Right out of the box, you are almost instantly ready to observe anything within the 30,000 object library. Simply turn it on, conduct a brief alignment procedure and you are ready for a guided tour of the heavens.
The StarNavigator 130mm reflecting telescope features a lens diameter of 130mm (5.1") for clear, bright images and a focal length of 1000mm; focal ratio f/7.7. Included with this high quality, portable instrument are two Meade 1.25" eyepieces (MA25mm and MA9mm) for magnifications of 40X and 111X, Meade AudioStar computer keypad with a 30,000 object library, AutoStar Suite Astronomer Edition Software and Instructional DVD and an easy to use red dot viewfinder.
Alignment on the StarNavigator 130mm is made easy with the soundly built metal construction mount featuring advanced electronics. Comfortable viewing while either seated or standing is provided with the full size and adjustable height aluminum tripod. The mount of the StarNavigator 130mm is conveniently powered with the included internal battery pack. The battery pack holds eight (user supplied) AA batteries.
