MoonLite Dual Rate Crayford Focuser (Model CR2) is based on the CR1 Classic Crayford design, but it uses an all ball-bearing pre-loaded, inline planetary reduction system on the right hand knob. The combination of the 8.2 to 1 reduction unit with the high polshed bearing riding surfaces gives the CR2 it's buttery smooth focus action with no backlash at all. Unlike the offset slow motion units used on other focusers, MoonLite's inline reduction unit turns the opposite course knob in the correct direction. Your choice of 3 different draw tubes lenghts and reduction knob mounting. What can we say: Dual Rate is Great! Custom anodized colors and draw tube travel lengths of 1.5", 1.75", 2",2.75" are available through MoonLite. Left handed Slow motion configurations are also available on CR2 and CR4 models.
