Takahashi Mewlon 250 Corrector
- Takahashi Mewlon 250 Corrector is a three element ED corrector that eliminates coma and flattens the field.
- Takahashi Mewlon 250 is part of the baffle tube assembly which is switched out by the user.
- Takahashi Mewlon 250 Corrector goes well with wide field oculars and medium format CCD cameras.
Introducing three element ED correctors for the Mewlon-250 and 300, these proprietary correctors eliminate coma and flatten the field while also reducing the f-ratio slightly for each. Both the 250 and 300 Mewlon CR Correctors were designed to be a visual and imaging corrector. The corrector is part of the baffle tube assembly which is switched out by the user. A 1.5x and 0.73x reducer are also being introduced to compliment the usefulness of the Mewlon CR Corrector. The Mewlon can be viewed as a tri-focal device with the corrected fields at three different focal ratios.
Designed to work with every Mewlon-250 and Mewlon-300 ever made, the Mewlon CR design makes use of about 20 years of production. Performing excellence with the Mewlon CR Corrector would be the use of wide field oculars and medium format CCD cameras.
