The Astrozap Az-107-C Flexi-Shield is a flexible dew shield that fits Celestron 8" SCT/CPCs. Dew shields are the first defense in passive dew prevention, and they also shield the telescope lens from undesirable stray light. This flexible dew shield is felt-lined to help absorb moisture and prevent extraneous light from reaching your optics. This blocking of stray light will help improve contrast significantly.
The Astrozap AZ-107-C telescope dew shield is made of high-quality ABS polymers and measures 12" in total length. The Flexi-Shield is black and has Velcro brand fasteners sewn to the shield so that your dew shield will stay fitted to your telescope. They are padded is they will no mar or scratch your telescope. When it's time to break down, the Astrozap plastic dew shield removes easily and rolls up to a convenient size for easy transport to star parties or for storage.
