The 2" Celestron 31 mm Luminos Eyepiece is an excellent low-magnification wide-field eyepiece. Featuring a wide 82° field of view for high and low magnification, Luminos parfocal eyepieces let you smoothly transition from low to high power with little to no focusing. They are comfortable to use: retractable eyecups provide an ultra-low profile for eyeglass wearers, and the ergonomic rubber gripping ring aids with secure installation and removal, when transitioning from one eyepiece to the other. The Luminos eyepieces by Celestron have polished and hard anodized aluminum barrels, which make them scratch-resistant and give them a high end, professional appearance. The hard anodized aluminum barrel is threaded to accommodate Celestron 2" thread-in filters.
