Celestron Ultima Edge 24mm Eyepiece - 1.25"

Celestron has designed this 24 mm Ultima Edge Flat-Field Eyepiece so that images viewed through it are clear and well-defined across the complete field of view. With a generous 65° field of view, this eyepiece is great for viewing planets, stars, and the Moon's surface.

This flat-field eyepiece boasts fully multi-coated optics and an 8-element lens design for maximized light transmission. The 24 mm Ultima Edge is a mid-power magnification eyepiece, great for up-close views of smaller objects.

Body

The barrel of the eyepiece measures 1.25" and is compatible with 1.25" filter and adapter threads. Additionally, this barrel is compatible with 1.25" star diagonals and focusers. With fold-down rubber eyecups and a long 29 mm of eye relief, viewing through this Celestron Ultima Edge eyepiece is a comfortable experience for those who do, as well as those who do not, wear eyeglasses.

Celestron's Ultima Edge eyepiece body design is machined from high grade aluminum with a black anodized surface. Around the outside of the body, there is a unique molded rubber grip for non-slip during handling even with gloves on!

Please note: The 24 mm version of the Celestron Ultima Edge does not have a parfocal design.
