This Observer Package from Lunt Solar Systems unlocks the full viewing potential of their popular 80 mm ED refractor solar telescope. Along with the Lunt LS80MT 80 mm modular telescope, this package includes the accessories needed for solar, nighttime, terrestrial, and white light observing! You will receive the modular H-Alpha Solar telescope OTA with a 2" Rack & Pinion Focuser and B1200 blocking filter, mounting rings with integrated solar finder handle, an 8" Vixen style dovetail, and a hard case as well as a 2" white light wedge and 2" polarizer for white light viewing, a 1.25" diagonal for non-solar viewing, a 2" to 1.25" adapter, a really nice 7 mm to 21 mm zoom eyepiece and a backing plate with focuser assembly.

The included H-alpha and B1200 blocking filters provide a safe and exciting view of the sun's disk and surface. In addition, the white light wedge and polarizing filter allow for white light observation. True doppler tuning allows for precise tuning. Removing and replacing the H-alpha module with the included backing plate and focuser transforms this 80 mm, FPL53 doublet lens refractor into a nighttime and terrestrial telescope.

With a 560 focal length combined with the included B1200 blocking filter, the LS80MT is in an optimal configuration for solar imaging, in addition to more traditional astrophotography. Imaging is also possible in white light with the Observer Package.

• 1.25" Diagonal and 2" to 1.25" Adapter - Allows the LS80MT to accept 1.25-inch eyepieces for nighttime and terrestrial viewing.
• Red Dot Handle and Mounting Ring Assembly - An integrated red dot finder and mounting ring assembly that doubles as a handle for additional portability.
• 8-inch Vixen-style Dovetail - For connecting the LS80MT to the mount of your choice.
• Backing Plate & Focuser - When the H-alpha and blocking filters are removed, the backing plate and focuser allows for non-solar nighttime and terrestrial observing.
• Lunt Zoom 1.25-inch Eyepiece - With an adjustable focal length of 7.2 to 21.5 mm, this eyepiece features the same 0.1% anti-reflective coatings that Lunt uses on its etalons. For use with solar, terrestrial, and nighttime observing (always have the H-alpha and blocking filters attached to safely look at the sun!).
• 2" White Light Wedge - For imaging and observing in white light.
