Pegasus Astro DewMaster 5 Channel Digital Dew Heater Controller

Pegasus Astro is giving users a chance to power and control up to five dew heaters at once! The DewMaster from Pegasus Astro is a 100% digitally operated dew controller that uses a PWM duty cycle to allow for connection and individual control of each user supplied dew heater.

On the face of the controller, there is a high resolution, 128 x 64 pixel LED red film display. The red film ensures that night vision will not be affected, yet bright enough to read the screen for quick and easy control. With this screen, you can measure consumed amperes and input voltage.

The DewMaster comes with five powerful MOSFETs, each supporting 6amps. The Mosfet transistors ensure that there are no voltage drops from any of the five RCA outputs, and the 6amp capacity ensures that each dew heater will get the required power. With the incorporated Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) duty cycle control, you can reduce your battery consumption. The DewMaster is also protected from reverse voltage polarity. So, you can be worry free when it comes to possibly reverse connecting your power source.

In addition to the five RCA dew heater outputs, there are two 12V DC outputs for additional astronomy equipment that meet those power requirements.

Also included is an external environmental sensor, which can measure temperature and relative humidity to automate activation of the heating elements. The sensor can also feed temperature, humidity, and dew point information to the onboard display. Length of sensor cord is 1 meter (3.28 ft). This sensor will most likely be blue in color (not white as shown in the image) and is compatible with the newest firmware only.

To use the DewMaster from Pegasus Astro, all you have to do is push down the knob and choose the output you desire. Turning the knob, either left or right, controls the duty cycle from 0-100%. Super easy!

Dimensions are as follows: 109mm x 74mm x 25mm.
