DwarfLab DWARF 3 Smart Telescope
An Update to the AI Smart Telescope from DwarfLabs — the DWARF 3!
A state-of-the-art upgrade to the AI Smart Telescope from DwarfLabs, the Dwarf 3 brings more: more optics, more image sensor, more battery, more storage, and more processing power! If you're looking for an ultra-portable, easy-to-use, smart telescope package that is ready for viewing objects both near and far, look no further!
The Dwarf 3 Smart Telescope offers a unique perspective in the smart telescope market by packing in two of them — a 737 mm equivalent telescopic view and a 45 mm equivalent wide-angle. That's a longer total reach than the previous model while maintaining a similarly large FOV wide-angle, allowing you to as much and more than before! This increased optical performance has been paired with a more powerful sensor and Neural Processing Unit, meaning whether you're tracking birds, stitching together panoramas, or imaging deep space objects, you'll get cleaner images in less time. Battery capacity and storage have been increased as well, with a 10,000 mAh internal battery and 128GB of built-in eMMC hard dive space that will ensure you can make the most out of your imaging sessions at home, a neighborhood star party, or weekend camping trip!

Small, yet mighty, the Dwarf 3 sports a number upgrades and new features, alongside the same excellent ultra-portable design, AI-Powered object tracking, and ease-of-use from the previous generation!
Unique Dual Camera System
The Dwarf 3 stands out from the smart telescope crowd with two lenses: a 150 mm telephoto and a 6.7 mm wide-angle lens that provide a 737 mm, 3840 x 2160 resolution, and 45 mm, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 35mm-equivalent perspective respectively. At 35 mm, the periscope style telephoto lens provides a 45.8% increase in aperture from the previous generation, a boost in light gathering ability that amateur astrophotographers are sure to appreciate! For those who appreciate more expansive views, the wide-angle lens has just about the same FOV — which can be expanded into a giga-pixel resolution panorama with the Dwarf 3's AI stitching and blending power. Previously panoramas, video, astrophotography, burst shot, and time-lapse were telephoto only modes, but with the Dwarf 3 full functionality is available to both the telephoto and wide-angle lenses!
Easy Control
The Dwarf 3 telescope is an incredibly intuitive system. All you need to do is connect your smartphone/tablet to the DWARF 3 smart telescope via your WiFi network, or with the new NFC one-touch pairing feature that makes linking up with your device easier than ever! From there, you can wirelessly control the Dwarf 3 telescope unit through DWARFLAB App, available for both Android & iOS. This app features multi-language support, to make imaging objects both here on Earth or out in space an accessible experience! For long imaging sessions the Dwarf 3 works for you in the background — just start your image capture, minimize the app, then jump back in when you're ready to end your imaging session! Please Note: Please ensure that your phone/tablet supports Bluetooth 4.0 & WiFi 5GHz.
Enhanced Astrophotography Hardware
DwarfLabs has improved upon every facet of the Dwarf's astrophotography power in the 3, with new, larger, optics, a new camera sensor, and a set of built-in astrophotography filters! With upgraded optics that increase the light gathering ability of the telephoto lens by 116%, the new Sony IMX678 sensor will get an even brighter view of the celestial objects in our night sky. Combined with the 90.24% larger pixels and Sony STARVIS 2 technology, the Dwarf 3 gains a more sensitive and less noisy perspective into our universe. To reveal faint celestial object details, DwarfLabs has added two internal astrophotography filters alongside the visual filter — an Astro Filter that allows more infrared light by for enhanced broadband images, and a Dual-Band Filter designed to isolate OIII, H-alpha, and H-beta wavelengths to better capture emission nebula! This isn't just for galaxies and nebula either, as the Dwarf 3 can also provide stellar images of the Moon — or even our Sun with the included solar filter.
Auto Star Tracking & Stacking
Get ready for seamless automation! The Dwarf 3 smart telescope can automatically track stars as they slowly move due to Earth’s rotation. The body of the Dwarf 3 can rotate around the altitude and azimuth along the movement of stars and uses a field-rotation-correction algorithm to avoid field rotation — or with the new mode and a user-supplied tripod capable of polar aligning the Dwarf 3, use your smart telescope in an EQ mode that allows for 4x longer exposures that will bring out even more detail in your astro images! Once you're done capturing images they'll be stacked and processed effortlessly with the Dwarf 3's internal algorithms and AI-powered noise reduction, and with the mosaic feature you can create even more expansive images than before on the device. If you're looking for a more hands-on post processing approach, don't fret as this smart telescope is capable of saving and exporting your images in the astrophotography FITS format, as well as JPEG, PNG, and TIFF.
AI Powered Object Recognition and Tracking
The Dwarf 3 smart scope uses a neural network processing unit (NPU) to automatically recognize and track the movement of a chosen subject, and with a new, more powerful, NPU this AI tracking is more powerful than ever! When the movement slows down, you only need to click once to zoom in for a closer look. The DwarfLab panoramic and telephoto lenses are always in sync, and you can switch between them with one click in the app.
Ultra-Portable Compact Design
The body of the DWARF 3 smart telescope weighs in at only 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs), so you can take it anywhere! Included with the Dwarf 3 is a custom carry bag, perfect for carrying the smart telescope and its accessories to ensure you are ready to use your smart telescope wherever you may go. The bag is padded for protection during travel. Get ready to have an all-in-one unit that you can take on-the-go!
