Fully GoTo Dobsonian Base
The Virtuoso Dobsonian Base with roller bearings from Sky-Watcher includes built-in WiFi for complete GoTo telescope control. All you need is a smartphone and the free Sky-Watcher SynScan app for iOS and Android. Using the base's GoTo technology and the SynScan app, users can access a database of over 10,000 objects. These objects include Messier, NGC, IC, and Caldwell catalogs. All you need to do is align the stars using one of the four different alignment options: One-Star, Brightest Star, North-Level Alignment, and Three Star. Once aligned, the Virtuoso GTi computer will get to work and precisely track objects. Sky-Watcher has also included their patented Freedom Find technology. This uses dual encoders to allow manual control during the alignment process and retaining position. This is incredibly convenient and provides flexibility while viewing.
