About the Apertura Deluxe Hard Telescope Case...

The hard telescope case from Apertura is the perfect bodyguard for your Celestron NexStar 8 SE or 6 SE OTA and attached single fork arm! Whether you are transporting the telescope from place to place or you are keeping it stored away in between your celestial observations, this hard case is built to keep your optics safe.

Here is how the custom foam works: When you open the case, you will see a cut-out for the smallest of the two scopes...the NexStar 6SE...and both the OTA and mount will fit snugly into place. However, if you have the NexStar 8SE, simply remove the foam insert that partially surrounds the perimeter of the cutout for the OTA (see the photo showing the foam insert in the process of being lifted out to create a larger opening) . Removing the insert will allow the larger 8SE OTA and fork arm to fit in the case, while still providing plenty of protection. Apertura has also included several additional cuts in the foam to accept various accessories. When not in use, these accessory receptacles can be plugged with foam.

Apertura has added several features to this case to make it a premier tool for protection and transportation. Not only is there custom cut foam for the Celestron NexStar 8SE or 6 SE OTA and arm, but there has been foam added to the inside of the lid to further protect the OTA and accessories that can fit inside.

There are a total of four large latches that hold the lid closed, ensuring that the case will not pop open if one latch accidentally comes undone. Additionally, there are two different types of handles on this case, making portability a breeze! There are durable plastic carry handles on each end of the case, perfect for lifting the case in and out of vehicles or on and off shelving units. There is also an extendable handle that allows you to move the case around using the large, durable wheels.

So whether you need to lift your case or wheel it to the perfect spot during an observation or star party, you are covered!

Keep your NexStar SE telescope tripod or camera tripod clean as well as bug- and scratch-free by storing it in this heavy-duty tripod case from Apertura! The Apertura Universal Tripod Case is easier to carry than hauling around a tripod on its own. Just unzip the top (the end with the Apertura "A" on it) and slide your tripod in feet first. If you need extra length, you can unzip the top OR bottom extension to reveal several extra inches of storage space! The tripod carry case comes with both a sturdy handle and a shoulder strap.
