This padded soft case by Celestron is designed for 11-inch SCT and EdgeHD optical tubes and other 11-inch OTAs under 25-inches in length. It will also fit the long Celestron RASA 8 OTA. Featuring internal padding to safely house the tube assembly, and multiple zippers for easy access, this soft case is a great solution to store and carry your 11-inch OTA or 8" RASA!
Celestron Padded Soft Case Compatibility:
This optical tube soft case is compatible with most 11" optical tubes under 25" in length, including Celestron 11" EdgeHDs and Celestron 11" Schmidt-Cassegrains. Not compatible with the 11" RASA, but it will work for the 8" RASA OTA.
Composition of the Celestron Padded Soft Case:
The internal polyester walls are lined with 16 mm-thick (0.63 inch) expanded polyethylene (EPE) foam to provide in-transit protection for optical tube. Internal straps provide further security.
The outer shell is made of 900D (denier) polyester for weather resistance and features an embroidered Celestron logo. To compliment the external handles, a detachable padded shoulder strap is included for over-the-shoulder or hand grip portability. An external, hidden, zippered pocket with cinching straps allows for convenient accessory storage.
