This padded soft case by Celestron is designed for 9.25-inch SCT and EdgeHD optical tubes and other 9.25-inch OTAs under 23-inches in length. It will also work with the Celestron 7" Maksutov-Cassegrain OTA as well. Featuring internal padding to safely house the tube assembly, and multiple zippers for easy access, this soft case is a great solution to store and carry your 7" Mak or 9.25" SCT or EdgeHD OTA!
Composition of the Celestron Padded Soft Case:
The internal polyester walls are lined with 16 mm-thick (0.63 inch) expanded polyethylene (EPE) foam to provide in-transit protection for optical tube. Internal straps provide further security.
The outer shell is made of 900D (denier) polyester for weather resistance and features an embroidered Celestron logo. To compliment the external handles, a detachable shoulder strap is included for over-the-shoulder or hand grip portability. An external, hidden, zippered pocket with cinching straps allows for convenient accessory storage.
Celestron 9.25" OTA Padded Soft Case Compatibility:
This optical tube soft case is compatible with most 9.25" optical tubes under 23" in length, including Celestron 9.25" EdgeHDs and Celestron 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain's. It is also compatible with the Celestron 7" Maksutov-Cassegrain OTA.
