The Pacific Design soft padded case easily fits an 8" Schmidt Cassegrain telescope with a fork mount. Safely transport and store your OTA with the fork arms and base! This case features an improved clamshell design with a zipper all around the exterior so you can easily insert and remove your OTA without scratches or damage. With dimensions of 28" x 19" x 13", this case is ideal for carrying a wide range of optical tube assemblies, including the Celestron CPC 800, CPC Deluxe HD, 8” Evolution, 9.25” Evolution, or Meade 8” LX90. Constructed from water-resistant denier nylon, this case includes an external zippered pouch, perfect for storing your telescope's accessories. A contoured carry handle makes it easy to transport but you have the option to attach your own shoulder strap for a custom bag suited to your needs. The standalone weight of this case is 3.5 lbs.
