Producing natural stellar and planetary color rendition, the Tele Vue Tele Vue TV76 APO Refractor Telescope is a superb instrument with APO performance of the Nagler design, fully multi-coated 2-element objective, a 2" Everbrite diagonal, and an expansive 5.5 degree rich-field.

The Tele Vue TV76 APO offers magnificent views of "showpiece" objects that are too large in angular diameter to fit into a small field of view telescope. The TV76 uses 3" (76 mm) true apochromatic doublet lens using a special dispersion glass element that results in essentially non-existent chromatic aberration.

The TV76 optical tube has a 2" Focusmate dual-speed, 10:1 rack and pinion focuser with a non-marring brass clamp ring. This securely holds 2" accessories and diagonals in place. Improving daylight contrast when viewing at low sun angles and dewing at night is a retractable lens shade. While traveling or stored away, the thread-in metal dust cap protects the optics from damage. With its small size and light weight, using with a lighter-duty tripod makes the TV76 APO easy to carry and use on the go. The included padded shoulder bag protects your scope and six eyepieces when in transit or stored away.
