William Optics STC Astro Duo-Narrowband Filter

Astrophotographers interested in capturing the specific wavelength that can be found in gaseous and planetary nebulae will be glad they added this William Optics filter, made with SCHOTT® B270 Optical Glass, to their astrophotography setup.

Not only will the Astro Duo-Narrowband Filter help astronomers isolate the Hα (656nm) and OIII (500nm) emission lines, but it will help reduce the interference of light pollution. With these capabilities, this STC filter will offer more details and greater contrast for celestial images.

As mentioned above, the 48 mm ADN filter is made with Schott® B270 glass which is coated with Ion Beam-Assisted Deposition (IBAD) technology. This makes the filter durable and easy to clean. It also protects the filter from the aging effects of time, temperature, and humidity. The 48 mm threaded cell is made from 6061 Aluminum.
