If you'd like to flatten the field when doing photography through the Z73, this field flattener, made specifically for the ZenithStar 73, will do the trick. It has adjustable back focus, accepts 2” filters, and presents M48 threads on the camera side. You provide the appropriate T-ring or adapter to mount your camera or DSLR.

Upgrading your telescope with a 2” diagonal allows you to use a wide range of 2” eyepieces and other barreled accessories. This diagonal has a carbon fiber body and dielectric coatings. It threads onto the rear cell of the telescope and comes with a 2” to 1.25” adapter so you can use 1.25" eyepieces in the diagonal as well.

A 2X Barlow is one of the most popular telescope accessories available because it doubles the magnification of any eyepiece! Since this is a 2” 2X Barlow with a 1.25” adapter, it will work great with both 1.25” and 2” eyepieces, but does need a 2” diagonal or focuser to accommodate its larger 2” insert barrel. Grow your magnification choices quickly by adding a good 2X Barlow to your accessory case.

The Tele Vue 3-6 zoom eyepiece is so versatile! For the Z73 refractor, it will provide anywhere from 72X to 144X magnification. Simply twist the black barrel to zoom in and out until the object you are viewing is as close as you like while still remaining sharp to your eye.

This 15 mm Super Wide Angle eyepiece will produce 29X magnification when used in the Z73. If you also pick up a 2X Barlow, you’d be able to double the magnification of the 15 mm to 58X. These are both good magnifications for daytime, or for low power, wide angle celestial views are desired.
