ZWO T2 Tilter II for ASI Imaging Cameras
ZWO's T2 Tilter is a camera angle adjuster that can be used to modify the imaging plane of your camera. Made of black anodized metal, this adapter contains an M42 threaded T2 interface on both sides and comes with a removeable T2 adapter ring.
This new version adds multiple screw holes for compatibility with 2" EFW filter wheels. Like the previous version, this T2 Tilter measures 78 mm in diameter and is 11 mm thick without the included adapter attached.
The main purpose of this accessory is to minimize Newton's rings when solar imaging in the h-alpha. You can also rotate the six nuts in the main body in order to adjust the camera imaging plane when the sensor plane is uneven.
The ZWO T2 Tilter II is suitable for use with all ASI imaging cameras other than the ASI071, ASI2600, and ASI6200 models.
Connection Method:
- ASI294, ASI1600, and ASI183, both cooled and uncooled versions, as well as the ASI533 cooled and ASI174 uncooled cameras do not require use of the included T2-T2 adapter.
- ASI178, ASI290, ASI224, and ASI120 uncooled camera models must be connected to the T2-T2 adapter first before being connected to the T2 Tilter.
