PrimaLuceLab C82 Pier for Mounting to Concrete Base

With the C82 telescope mounting pier from PrimaLuceLab, users will have a great solution for mounting large telescopes. Compared to a tripod, this pier has a large load capacity and provides greater stability while utilizing less space.

This pier stands ~32" (82 cm) tall. Constructed of 5 mm thick, powder-coated steel, the C82 has a 13.8" (35 cm) diameter tube that allows for its high load capacity and rigidity. The pier base has three pairs of holes at 120-degrees for horizontal leveling. In each hole, you can insert a retaining screw to the concrete base, and an M16 threaded hole where a thrust screw can be put to adjust the vertical position during installation.

In addition, mounting with a pier over a tripod eliminates the telescope touching tripod legs during movement, allowing for smoother and easier navigation.

This item is the pier only. We also carry the full line of PrimaLuceLab adapters (sold separately) to accommodate EQ6/AZ-EQ6/CGEM and EQ5/HEQ5/AZ-EQ5 mounts.
