This compact, easy-to-use 200 mm astrophotography lens is designed to blend seamlessly into your imaging train by utilizing a similar design to an ordinary camera. With the Askar ACL200 Astro Apochromatic Camera lens, you can optimize the quality of your celestial imaging without the need for additional optical accessories.
Askar has designed the ACL200 with excellent aberration control. You won't need to worry about the chromatic halo sometimes caused by a normal camera lens and telescope. The lens is both full-frame photography and flat-field correct supported and effectively corrects for chromatic aberration by using the six-element in three groups design with the ED ultra-low dispersion glass. Ultimately, this allows the Askar 200 mm lens to produce superb quality images. The Askar lens has an f /4 focal ratio which can shorten the exposure time and reduce the need for tracking accuracy.

New Version = New Accessories Included!
The second generation of the ACL200 lens comes upgraded with a standard Vixen-style dovetail plate attached to a high-quality mounting ring. With the new Vixen-style dovetail you can have many new accessory attachment options, like the ASIair or finder scope (not included). Two extra thumbscrews are also included. The new mounting ring that connects the dovetail plate to the ACL200 can also make a 360-deg turn.
Two Focus Modes
The Askar 200 mm astrophotography lens has two focusing modes. The first is a course adjustment with a helical focuser. The second mode is a 1 mm micro adjustment, allowing you to get the precise focus you desire for high-quality images.
Terrestial Photography
If you are looking to do some landscape photography, then the lens is a perfect tool for terrestrial imaging too! The Askar lens is optimized and features f/4 to f/22 aperture, allowing it to be used for either astrophotography or landscape photography, whether you want it overlapped or simultaneous.
Technical Specifications
This astrophotography full-frame lens from Askar comes with a 200 mm aperture, an f/4 focal ratio, and uses a six-element in three group design to achieve sharp celestial images. The closest manual focusing distance is 3 meters. The maximum diameter and length of the lens measure about 100 mm in diameter and 195 mm in length. The lens weighs 3.96 lbs (1.8kg). Additionally, the ACL200 APO lens from Askar is compatible with 2" filters. All you need to do is screw the filter into the filter adapter on the lens.
