If you're looking for a high quality telescope that's hassle-free, affordable, and versatile, then look no further than the Askar 71F Flat-Field Refractor! This easy to use refractor is fitted with four lens elements, meaning there is no need to calculate backspacing and is equipped with an inherent flat field. Enjoy sharp stars corner to corner, even with full frame cameras. Not only is this Askar quadruplet telescope optimal for astrophotography, the included set of visual accessories allows you to observe both day and night right out of the box. Askar didn't stop there however: with quality APO optics and the ability to add an electronic focuser, the 71F has much more to offer!

The Askar 71F Flat-Field refractor features a quadruplet air-spaced APO optical design with one ED element. This allows its 71 mm front aperture optics to provide an apochromatic image that you'll appreciate whether you're capturing vibrant nebulae or radiant galaxies. With an f/6.9 design and 490 mm focal length, this scope excels at imaging wider-field targets like the Andromeda galaxy or Orion nebula. Connecting your gear to capture these celestial objects is made easy, as the 71F comes standard with a collection of photographic adapters. All of this is paired with a solid 10:1 dual-speed 2.4" rack and pinion focuser that is ready for a multitude of the most popular user supplied electronic focusers, a multi-function handlebar for the addition of accessories, and a camera rotator, making the 71F a prime option for any astroimager.

Perfect for Visual Use as Well!

With 71mm of aperture and four internal lens elements, take advantage of these sharp optics for viewing a wide range of celestial objects. Not only this, but the Askar F71 can also be utilized as a powerful daytime spotting scope. Get up close and personal with captivating star clusters or enjoy a relaxing day of birdwatching. Thanks to the apochromatic design, the clarity seen within your eyepiece is sure to impress! Also, Askar has included numerous accessories to help you get started, such as a 1.25” 45° erecting diagonal along with two eyepieces.
