This MaxFR 6 nm OIII CCD clip-filter (8h11h9) for Sony Alpha 7 and 9 cameras (see below for compatible models) is suitable for imaging OIII nebulas both in conditions of light pollution or dark skies! Blocking all wavelengths from UV to infrared (including the emission lines of sodium/Na and mercury/Hg artificial lighting) except around 501 nm, the OIII CCD provides increased contrast for the doubly ionized oxygen emitted by OIII nebulae. Using this filter guarantees 88% transmission or more at OIII (501 nm). This filter is made to Astronomik's exacting standards. While transmission ratings may vary between each filter, you are guaranteed a transmission rating greater than 88%, with a typical transmission rating of around 92-95% for the 6 nm OIII. The specific T-Max will be listed on the filter case. You can rest easy knowing that every unit is thoroughly tested and guaranteed to meet Astronomik's stellar benchmark of performance!

Astronomik's innovative clip-filter system allows a variety of filter types to be attached to your camera, and are designed for use with normal lenses or telescopes. Made in Germany, these filters have an optical thickness of 1 mm with laser-cut lenses and black anodized aluminum frames.

Compatibility of Astronomik Clip-Filter for Sony Alpha 7

These Astronomik clip-filters have been successfully tested with Sony Alpha 7, 7r, and 7s bodies in Mk I, Mk II, and Mk III versions. Also compatible with the Alpha 9 body.

Currently, these clip-filters are not compatible with the following models: Alpha 7r IV, Alpha 58, Alpha 68, Alpha 77, Alpha 99, Alpha 6500, and all Sony DSLR bodies using the A-mount.
