The AZ-807 Heated Dew Shield is sized to fit Meade 7" and 8" Maks and SCTs. This Astrozap Flexi-Heat also fits optical tubes that have an outer diameter of 231 mm.
Astrozap dew shields are felt-lined, which helps them absorb moisture and work to keep extraneous light from the telescope optics. This greatly improves contrast. The velcro fasteners provide a snug fit, and the padded material keeps the shield from marring or scratching the finish on the telescope. This dew shield is made to roll up easily for transportation and storage. The total length of the dew shield is 12".
All Astrozap Flexi-Heat Dew Shields require the use of a simple D/C adapter (AZ-719) or dual channel controller (AZ-720) to be powered. Power consumption specifications for this Astrozap Flexi-Heat Dew Shield are 14 Watts @ 12 Volts, 1.18 Amps.
