7 Ah of Capacity
This power pack supplies 7 Ah of 12V
DC power from a lead-acid internal battery. This 84 Wh pack is a great
addition to a visual observation system, able to drive mounts like the
Celestron NexStar SE series through an observation session with ease. This
pack has an excellent operating range, exceeding most lithium solutions with
a -40°F to 140°F.
Multi-Output
The Celestron 12V 7 AH Power Tank
Portable Power Supply features dual 12V power outputs to drive your gear.
These dual car-charger style ports support 12V and combined 10A current
draw, able to power high demand setups for brief periods. Two USB A ports
provide 5V power for topping up your mobile devices at the observation site,
capable of a 1.5A per port and 2A total. These outputs are both guarded with
replaceable fuses, ensuring your sensitive equipment stays safe. In addition
to these ports, battery terminals are included on the back that allow users
to connect to the internal lead acid pack to assist a low car battery in
emergencies (connectors not included).
Light the Way
To make navigating your way to your
observation site easy, a bright white LED spotlight has been included on
this battery! The adjustable angle allows you to point the beam anywhere
from directly ahead to straight down, which can help prevent you from
illuminating areas where others may be observing. For maximum night vision
preservation and protection, a secondary red lensed LED flashlight is
included to help you navigate your site and gear in sensitive conditions.
Included Accessories
The Celestron 12V 7 AH Power Tank
Portable Power Supply comes with a car-charger style cable to 5.5x2.1 mm 12V
DC cable, to allow you to power most common astronomy gear right out of the
box. This cable stows is a compartment on the side of the battery, making it
easy to keep all your power related accessories in one easy to transport
package. To recharge the pack, an AC charging cable is included which will
bring the battery from flat to full in 16 hours.
