The exterior of the dew shield is a rigid, aluminum cylinder that will not fold or flex. A velvet-lined interior absorbs any additional stray light and excess moisture, creating maximum contrast when viewing and imaging. This aluminum dew shield comes with a cover cap crafted of the same sturdy but lightweight construction. Without this dust cap, stray particles are given a free hand to gather on your corrective lens between uses. Additionally, this cover cap enhances imaging by facilitating quick and easy dark frame acquisition. Just pop the dust cap on at the end of your light frame session to begin dark frame collection.
