Dew can quickly ruin a night of imaging, but there are ways to keep it at bay on all but the wettest of nights. Wrap this flexible dew shield snuggly around the end of your 14” SCT tube assembly to delay the formation of dew on your telescope's corrector plate. A dew shield also prevents stray light from bouncing off your optics and reducing contrast.

A 2X Barlow is one of the most popular telescope accessories available because it doubles the magnification of any eyepiece with the same barrel size! Since this is a 2” 2X Barlow with a 1.25” adapter, it will work great with both 1.25” and 2” eyepieces. The included 40 mm eyepiece with this telescope has a power of 98X on its own (196X with the Barlow), and if you add a few eyepieces as well, your magnification choices will multiply quickly!

The Celestron 11” SCT OTA comes with a 40 mm eyepiece, giving you a magnified view of 94X. We are offering this low power 55 mm to allow your telescope to gather more light for faint deep-sky objects. The 55 mm has a 2” barrel and provides 71X magnification. If you also pick up a 2” Barlow lens, it will double the magnification of the 40 mm eyepiece to 196X, and the 55mm will double to 142X.

The Celestron 14” SCT OTA comes with a 40 mm eyepiece that yields 94X magnification. If you add this 25 mm eyepiece to your collection, it will magnify by 156X. If you also pick up a 2X Barlow, you’d be able to double the magnification of both eyepieces (196X & 312X) plus any other eyepieces you get in the future.

This Celestron Focus Motor allows you to electronically focus your 14” SCT OTA by using your computer or the Celestron computerized hand controller, if included. Using this electronic focuser means you will have a virtually hands free approach to obtaining that crisp focus! Also, much finer adjustments can be achieved than when focus is done manually.
