This Coronado 1.25" SolarMax III Adapter allows users to replace the original 2" nosepiece of a 10 mm or 15 mm SolarMax III Blocking Filter (not included) with a 1.25" nosepiece. This allows the blocking filter to be used with a primary etalon and solar telescope that requires a 1.25" nosepiece. This adapter is not compatible with the 30 mm SolarMax III (BF30).
Please Note: Always exercise caution when viewing the Sun.All SolarMax III blocking filters must be used with a front mounted etalon or a scope containing an etalon. Failure to observe proper safety measures while solar viewing can result in permanent eye damage.
