Entrust your night's dew protection to the band with 20 years of experience and innovation behind it—the Dew Not 2" Eyepiece Dew Heater Strip!
Dew Not's heater band technology brings 30 USA & international patents and
20 years of constant improvement and enhancements to your battle against view
clouding and contrast robbing dew formation. This experience and innovation
gives you an even heating experience, with 66% of the band's surface area
radiating heat and preventing the hot spots commonly associated with
resistance wire heated strips. The Dew Not 2" Eyepiece Dew Heater Strip is 9"
long for covering most 2" eyepieces and a number of 50 mm telescopes and
finder/guide scopes*. Attaching the heater band around your eyepiece or scope
is easy with the elastic Velcro tag attaching to the soft cloth exterior to
securely mold the flexible band right where you need! Behind this exterior is
cushy insulation that helps keep the heat where you need it for more efficient
use of your power. Getting that power to the heater band is easy, with a 6'
cord terminated in the dew heater industry standard RCA plug for plenty of
space and controller compatibility!
*Please Note: The heating element within the dew strip is 1" shorter than
the length of the entire strip.
Efficient Heat Delivery Design
Keep your 2" eyepiece's window into the night sky or your 50 mm scope's objective clear with this USA made dew heater from the dew experts at Dew Not!
Efficient and Reliable
With decades of experience in
dew heater technology, it should come as no surprise that the Dew Not 2"
Eyepiece Dew Heater Strip protects your optics from dew with an effective
and reliable design. An insulating layer of foam helps keep the heat
generated by this band flowing into your optic instead of out into the
environment, ensuring you're using energy efficiently—a powerful
feature for battery powered systems and challenging environments. The band
is designed to run at the industry standard 12V via RCA plug, and is rated
for a maximum of 0.35A for a total draw of 4.2W.
