Do you need a super stable base for your iOptron CEM120 Mount? Check out the iOptron Tri-Pier 360! Like its name implies, this heavy-duty tripod/pier combo can handle up to 360 pounds (165 kg) but weighs only 31 pounds. The pier portion of the Tri-Pier 360 is made from 0.19" thick aluminum alloy and has a diameter of 5.9 inches. The legs of the Tri-Pier are CNC-machined aluminum and have been anodized a stunning red. The feet are nice and big for maximum stability and have 2" of adjustment just in case the ground you are observing from is not level. A spreader bar is used to further ensure stability and control the leg spread to a maximum of 41.3 inches. The iOptron Tri-Pier 360 can be adjusted in height from a minimum of 33.8 inches to a maximum of 40.15 inches.
This iOptron Tri-Pier comes with red anodized knobs, each with an Alan bolt shaft. Where the Alan bolt shaft screws onto the knob, there are screws with Locktite for a secure hold.
