The Meade Red and White LED Headlamp is a dependable accessory for a variety of activities. Designed to be both durable and lightweight, the Headlamp is IPX4 rated for water resistance and includes a breathable elastic headband. Atop the Headlamp you'll find two textured rubber buttons, one for the central white LED light and another for the auxiliary Red LED lights. The headlamp itself is mounted on a click-stop tiltable plate, which makes it easy control the direction of the light beam. It's powered by 3 x AAA batteries, which are included, and the white LED produces a maximum brightness of 160 lumen, so you'll have plenty of light for hassle free set ups and late night hikes!

Red LED Mode

This headlamp is designed to let your eye's naturally adapt to dark site conditions while still providing plenty of light to navigate your surrounding. Atop the headlamp there are two textured rubber buttons. The right side button controls the two auxiliary red LEDS, which can be toggled through two illumination modes: constant lighting and strobe lighting.
White LED Mode
A dependable red light source is a must for quick set ups at dark sky sites, but sometimes you need a little extra light. That's why Meade designed this Red and White LED Headlamp to provide ample lighting in every scenario. By using the left side button atop the headlamp you can effortlessly toggle through the three white light illumination modes: max illumination, dim, and strobe lighting.
Comfortable & Adaptable Design
With the Red and White Headlamp from Meade, you're not just getting an average headlamp. This adaptable multi-use headlamp is designed to support a variety of activities in a range of weather condition. This is thanks to the IPX4 water-resistant rating and durable (2.5 oz) body. It also features a tiltable click stop plate for effortless control over the direction of the light beam, as well as a breathable elastic headband. Included with the headlamp are three AAA batteries, which can be easily swapped out by carefully unclipping the tab on the top side of the headlamp with a flat head screwdriver.
