PrimaLuceLab 350mm PLUS Vixen Plate
This PrimaLuceLab dovetail plate measures 13.77" (350 mm) in length and is CNC machined out of an aluminum block. The dovetail plate is also red anodized to increase the rigidity of the Vixen style plate and to protect from oxidation.
The 350 mm PrimaLuceLab dovetail plate is designed to install telescopes and cameras on mounts that have a Vixen style clamp. It comes with threaded holes and slots for the telescope/camera to mount connection. It also comes with additional threaded holes for connection to other PrimaLuceLab PLUS mechanical components like rings, guide rings, dovetail clamps, and the EAGLE control unit.
You can use this PLUS dovetail plate in several different configurations. They are as follows:
- Below telescope support rings to connect to a Vixen style mount
- Above the telescope support rings to increase the rigidity of the set up
- Below a camera to connect to a Vixen style mount
- Below the telescope or camera to connect to a photographic head with an Arca Swiss clamp
- Used to create a side-by-side system with two PLUS dovetail clamps (not included)
