This Software Bisque Tripod Carry Case is designed to hold either the Paramount MYT Tripod or the Paramount Helium Tripod. When using with the Paramount MYT Tripod, you would set it to its minimum length. For the Helium Tripod, the case is compatible with either the Paramount MYT or the Paramount MX/MX+ top plate.
The Paramount MYT or Helium Soft Carry Case is made of a rugged material and has industrial strength zippers as well as a cushioned, ergonomic handle and shoulder strap. The dimensions of this standard tripod case are 12" x 12" x 30", and is designed for the MYT (or Helium) tripod without the extender installed.
Standard Tripod Case vs Extended Tripod Case
The above image shows two tripod cases from Software Bisque. The one on the left is the 41" long extended version designed for the MYT Tripod Case with the tripod extension tube attached, although it would certainly handle the tripod without the extension, there would just be about 11" of extra space at the top. The 30" version, which is sold here, is made to hold the tripod without the extension. If you have extended the length of the MYT tripod or plan to do so in the future, you should consider purchasing the Paramount MYT Extra Long Tripod Carry Case instead. The depth and width are the same on both cases (12" x 12").
