Follow along to discover the mastery behind this powerful smart telescope!
4K Sony IMX585 Sensor
The Vespera III is your key to capturing elaborate photos of distant deep sky objects. By utilizing the respected Sony IMX585 color image sensor, the Vespera III allows you to effortlessly capture and stack stunning 4K photos of the night sky, all from the palm of your hand. Thanks to the 585's exceptionally low read noise (0.7-6.67e) and on-board passive cooling system, the Vespera III will bring the universe to life right before your eyes, delivering a truly remarkable live stack experience. With the addition of the CovalENS automated mosaic software, you'll be able to take your astrophotography further than ever, with a significantly expanded image resolution up to 24 MP!
Reengineered Petzval Inspired Optics
The Vespera III reengineers excellence with a new f/4.9 Petzval-inspired optical design. This new optical system features a quadruplet design with 3 lens groups, including 2 extra-low dispersion "ED" glass elements. The new optical tube also includes new internal baffles that blocks stray light and deliver better performance in urban environments. These innovative optical refinements provide remarkable advances in color performance and image clarity, while offering cleaner results for narrowband and dual-band targets. You'll also enjoy improved illumination, reduced edge aberrations, and significantly enhanced edge-to-edge sharpness.
Capture Stunning Wide Field Mosaics with CovalENS
The upgraded CovalENS system allows the Vespera III to capture more data than ever before, giving you the ability to explore a much larger area of the night sky and capture richly detailed astrophotos with enhanced 24 MP image resolution. With this fully-automated mosaic mode, you'll be able to customize your framing and expand your field of view from 2.5° x 1.4° up to 4.3° x 2.4°! CovalENS is more than just an automated capturing software, this intelligent algorithm also enhances image quality as you capture and stack frames, giving you the ability to enjoy an exciting live stack experience with much wider view of the night sky.
Multi-Night Imaging with PerseverENS
Take your images to a whole new level by capturing data over multiple nights with PerseverENS! Pick up where your previous night's imaging left off and add more time on target. This additional data increases the signal-to-noise ratio of your final image, significantly reducing noise while pulling out more structure in the faint features of distant celestial objects. You can even use the "Plan My Night" to effortlessly schedule out a full night of imaging, making it easy to capture stunning photos of multiple targets in a single night of imaging!
Maintain Peak Performance with ResiliENS
ResiliENS technology is now available for the Vespera III thanks to the built-in hygrometer. Using the temperature and humidity sensor measurements, this intelligent defogging algorithm anticipates the appearance of fog. As environmental conditions approach a specified threshold, ReiliENS jumps into action and protects your imaging session from unexpected interruptions, ensuring you can observe for long hours even in difficult conditions.
Deepen Your Knowledge of the Night Sky with LumENS
The powerful LumENS AI expert will bring you closer to the cosmos than ever before. This onboard AI expert can instantly provide insightful knowledge, rich histories, and powerful stories of countless objects that decorate our skies. LumENS can engage in riveting conversations, allowing you to expand your astronomical knowledge and explore the cosmos in a completely unique way. This interactive guide though the cosmos is available right in the Singularity app, allowing you to quickly find answers for your spoken or written questions right in the moment!
Upgraded Hardware for 5x Faster Transfer Speeds
The Vespera III offers multiple upgrades, including enhanced USB-C hardware for transfer speeds 5x faster than the Vespera II. This hardware upgrade, alongside the expanded 115 GB of on-board storage, makes it easier than ever to take your astrophotography to the next level by manually processing your data with powerful dedicated astrophotography software such as Siril and PixInsight. Beyond the storage and connectivity upgrades, the Vespera III also includes an improved lithium-ion battery that now offers up to 11 hours of power, which is more than enough for an entire night of imaging.
Explore Further with the Singularity App
The included Singularity app transforms your smart device into an intuitive command module, allowing to seamlessly conduct your Vespera III Smart Telescope. From the palm of your hand, you'll fully control this powerful smart telescope. Select a target from on-board sky atlas containing a catalog of 4,300 objects, and watch as the Vespera III comes to life, autonomously plate solving and locating the target of your choice. The Singularity also gives you the ability to thoroughly and easily plan out your evening session based on when your favored objects will be visible; it even provides a breakdown of locale weather conditions alongside the optimal imaging window.

Why isn't my Vespera III charging, or charging is very slow?
The Vespera III does not come with a USB-C charger or power adapter. Make sure you are using a sufficiently powerful adapter with an output of 30-50W and a USB-C cable that supports (PD) power delivery. The extremely powerful Apertura All Night Imaging Power Supply - 518Wh is a great option for all your charging needs, providing more than enough power to fully charge your Vespera III multiple times over.. It even comes with a highly capable USB-C power cable that supports (PD) up to 100W!
Can the Vespera III be used visually like a traditional telescope?
No, the Vespera III is an all-in-one astrophotography system designed to capture stunning high resolution astrophotos. It does not have an eyepiece and cannot be used like a traditional telescope.
Can the Vespera III be charged while in use?
While the 11-hour battery capacity is more than enough to last an entire night of imaging, the Vespera III can be charged while in use, so you won’t have to worry about interrupting your imaging session to recharge.
Can you view planets with the Vespera III?
While you can technically image the planets with the Vespera III, it does not provide enough magnification to resolve the planets in detail.
Does the Vespera III fit in the original Vespera backpack?
The Vespera III will fit in the original Vespera backpack; however, the upgraded aluminum tripod is larger than the original Vespera tripod and does not fit in the bag.
Why do my Vespera III images have a bright glow near the edges?
Bright glow near the edges of your image is typically caused by a bright light source, such as the Moon, shining on the optical tube, or bright sky glow caused by light pollution. To ensure optimal image quality, avoid pointing the Vespera in the direction of bright light sources (when using the deep sky imaging mode). If you want to shield your Vespera from light pollution and cut through sky glow, try using the Vespera Light Pollution Filter (sold separately)!
