Split Clamp Vixen Style Saddle
This latitude base features a split clamp vixen saddle that accepts standard vixen style dovetails. Thanks to the innovative split clamp design, this saddle applies uniform locking pressure along the contact points, so you won't have to worry about dents and scratch on the dovetail bar. It also has a large locking knob for tool free operation, and the spring loaded clamp keep the saddle open when unlocked, making it easy to quickly position your equipment. The Vixen style saddle is compatible with the star trackers that include standard vixen style dovetails iOptron Sky Guider Pro and Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i.
Printed Gauge Optimized for Low Latitudes
The printed gauge on the side of this latitude base is optimized for low latitudes ranging from 7°-34°.
