The ZWO ASIAIR Plus WiFi Controller is packed with features that make creating incredible images nearly effortless! Simply install the ASIAir Plus in a Synta-style findershoe, connect 12V power and your imaging/ mount USB connections, connect your ASIAir app compatible Android or iOS mobile device, and you're ready to start your night's session. This WiFi camera control system features 4 USB ports; two fast 3.0 ports for cameras or other high-throughput connections, and two USB 2.0 ports. ZWO imaging cameras, guide cameras, and other supporting accessories such as camera angle rotators and electronic focusers are supported; with 3rd party support available for mounts only. The ASIAir Plus additionally supports a number of DSLR and mirrorless cameras via USB, with a 2.5 mm SNAP port for simpler shutter release operation. Four 12V 5.5x2.1 mm ports allow you to power your cooled cameras and other 12V DC supporting gear. Each port is rated to 3A of power, with the device rated for a total of 5A including the draw of the ASIAir itself. Powering this device can be done via the 12V 5.5x2.1 mm 5A power input, and a physical On/Off switch has been included alongside a physical Reset button. The ZWO ASIAIR Plus WiFi Controller has 32 GB of eMMC storage for quicker data speeds and more reliable operation compared to previous microSD based OS models. To expand your storage the device does feature a microSD expansion slot, with a USB-C port that allows you to download images saved on the ASIAir to your PC.
ZWO has expanded the wireless range of the ASIAir Pro, with the ZWO ASIAIR Plus WiFi Controller sporting an external antenna that can provide 20 meters of 2.4 Ghz range. For users looking to increase throughput, this device additionally supports the shorter reaching but quicker 5 Ghz band as well! For ultimate speed and connectivity, the ASIAir Plus additionally features an ethernet port that allows the device to be hardwired into your network.
