ZWO Nikon T2 Adapter for ASI Cameras
This ZWO Nikon-T2 adapter is made up of a 29mm Nikon-T2 adapter and a 5mm T2 extender. Both are machined out of high quality materials, and anodized black to blend in well with most imaging trains. This adapter is compatible with all ZWO ASI cameras, excluding the full frame cameras like the ASI6200 and ASI2400.
When using this adapter from ZWO, you can even add a user supplied 2" IR-CUT filter with the adapter to help you further your imaging adventure through the night sky.
This adapter is designed with 17.5 mm native backfocus cameras in mind. Cameras with this spacing can be connected to the ZWO Nikon T2 Adapter without the 5 mm extension, while 12.5 mm native backfocus cameras should be connected with the extension. Be sure to check your camera's technical specifications to determine your camera's native backfocus, however generally Pro/Cooled ZWO cameras are designed to work without the extension and ZWO 'puck' style cameras will need it. Please also note that while this adapter is capable of passing over an APS-C sized image circle from the lens with its 42 mm clear aperture, the actual image circle will depend on the lens used and in some cases may not be suitable for more demanding setups such as ZWO's smaller sensor Smart Cameras.
