ZWO Tripod Head for SeeStar Smart Telescope

The TH10 ZWO Tripod Head for SeeStar Smart Telescopes is designed to set your smart telescope up for stellar EQ mode astrophotography! With 180° of tilt and 360° of panning range this tripod head gives you the tools you need to dial in long exposures with your ZWO smart telescope, with hydraulic damping to make smooth adjustments a breeze. Unlock rotation-free imaging and enhance your Seestar imaging experience!

Building upon ZWO's stellar Seestar astrophotography capabilities out of the box, EQ mode allows your smart telescope to create images free from large crops or the "fan of cards" effect on the edges. With this tripod upgrade from ZWO, you can unlock this powerful potential in you Seestar and enhance your imaging experience! Installing this upgrade on your non-adjustable tripod gives you 180° of altitude and 360° of azimuth adjustment to allow you to polar align in latitudes above 15° and put your smart telescope in step with the rotation of the skies above for longer exposure times and consistent object framing. This astrophotography add-on features attention to detail in its construction; with CNC-machined aluminum for strength and a lightweight footprint, and hydraulic damping that gives you a smooth and precise adjustment experience. A quick-detach base makes setting up and breaking down your Seestar effortless once the base has been installed—and with 1/4" thread and 3/8" adapter this base can also be attached to your DSLR, mirrorless camera, video camera, or other common photography gear, adding functionality to your tripod even when your astrophotography explorations are over!

An Astrophotography Upgrade for Your Seestar!

Set your Seestar up for stellar rotation-free images with this high quality and versatile tripod upgrade from ZWO!

Adjustable for EQ Imaging
In order to combat the rotation of the Earth, extending your exposure time possibilities and freeze your initial object framing, you'll need to align your Seestar's stock Alt-Az movement with this spin. The ZWO Tripod Head for Seestar Smart Telescope allows you to do this easily, with a wide altitude range and full 360° azimuth adjustment! Simply unlock the axis or axes you need to adjust, move your Seestar by hand or with the detachable handle, and then tighten the adjustment knobs back down once you've polar aligned your smart telescope.

High Quality Build
The TH10 tripod head is a quality addition to your Seestar setup, with a sturdy construction and intelligent flourishes to enhance your experience! The head is constructed of CNC-machined aluminum for a robust platform capable of shouldering 11 lb. of gear while only weighing in at 0.91 lb. It features adjustment scale markings on both axes to help you keep track of your movements and precisely dial in your polar alignment; with hydraulic damping added for smoother and more methodical adjustments! Bubble levels have been added to the top and side of the head to aid in leveling your Seestar station. Once leveled you can install the smart telescope in a snap, thanks to the quick release base!

Versatile
This handy addition is for more than just your Seestar! The quick detach plate features a 1/4" threaded stud that is compatible with a wide variety of photography and video equipment on the market today, with a 3/8" adapter included in the box for Seestar and even more equipment coverage. Combined with the 3/8" mount point on the bottom of the head which is compatible with a large number of photography tripods, the TH10 ZWO Tripod Head for Seestar Smart Telescope can expand your tripod's capabilities into the day and further round out your photography toolkit!
