This tripod is designed to be incredibly adaptable to your needs. Apertura has designed three different, interchangeable feet options: swivel pads, vibration suppressing, and spikes. Then the vibration suppressing foot option will be ideal. And what about loose surfaces like gravel or mud? This portable tripod can go anywhere by including the feet spikes for stability no matter where you are! Simply remove the detachable puck from the tripod, attach the puck to your mount with either the 3/8"-16 center stud or the three included mounting bolts and washers, and your mount can be attached to the tripod using the large thread-on center knob.

For mounting your strain wave gear mount, this tripod includes a removeable 3/8"-16 center stud and a set of mounting bolts; ensuring you can connect the ZWO AM series, Sky-Watcher Wave series, or WarpAstron WD series mounts in the way that suits your needs! Lastly, a pair of hex keys are included to easily adjust the mounting hub that installs the mount to the tripod.
Multiple Connection Methods
The Apertura Carbon Fiber tripod for strainwave mounts comes with two main connection methods. The first is a standard 3/8"-16 threaded connection. The second is a three piece M6 bolt connection method. This mirrors the design of the ZWO AM5N (not included) mount. Once you have the mount, all you need to do is unthread the tripod's center stud and then the mount can be bolted in place. This tripod comes with both a removable 3/8"-16 stud and a set of bolts and washers to secure your mount with either connection method!
Tool-Free Quick Detach Hub
With the tool-free quick detach hub, you no longer have to struggle with hex keys in order to install the mount to the tripod! Simply connect the detachable puck to your mount, set up your tripod, place the mount on top of the tripod, and lock it into place. Removal of the mount is as simple as unlocking and lifting the mount off of the tripod.
