Safely Transport and Store Your Counterweights!
The Apertura counterweight case is designed to meet your storage and transport needs! This soft, polyester case can carry a wide variety of different counterweights so you can protect your equipment between viewing sessions and when you are traveling to a star party or your favorite observation spot. The case design allows it to hold multiple weights in most instances, with the exception of the larger 17lb and 22lb weights. Due to the large size of these weights only one will physically fit, per case. See the chart below to determine how many counterweights this case can hold for your specific setup.
The Apertura case for counterweights is padded and designed to fit a large variety of counterweights. It can hold the two weights included with the Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro and HEQ5 mounts, as well as the two weights included with the Celestron AVX, CGEM, and CGX mounts. Additionally, the soft case is compatible with the 22 lb. weight included with the Celestron CGX-L or Sky-Watcher EQ8 mounts. If you are looking to use this padded case with any other counterweights, please be sure to check dimensions before purchasing. This case comes with a padded disc that isolates your two counterweights so they do not damage each other when in the case.

Equipped with super-beefy industrial zippers, this case is a perfect tool to store and transport your counterweights. Along with the industrial zipper, the high-quality 600D polyester is tightly woven, ensuring that everything is closed up tightly and protected from outside elements. While the case is not waterproof, it is fine-dust-resistant.
