Whether you have an 8" Apertura RC, Classic Cass, or Celestron SCT telescope, this case has
you covered! An expandable main compartment and four 0.79" foam inserts
help you tailor the fit to your scope and setup, preventing sliding inside
the case. Surrounding and capping off the compartment is a thick half inch
layer of foam padding* that helps shield your scope from bumps in transit
or storage. A heavy-duty, durable fabric and secure stitching construction
ensures your scope stays securely inside this padded protection, and
guards it against abrasions along the way. An unpadded front pouch
provides a place for less sensitive accessories, and a handle/ shoulder

has built this case with a thick half inch layer of premium foam on the
sides* and ends. This forms a bubble of protection around your telescope,
absorbing impacts to help keep your optics and optical tube safe. This
protective layer sits in-between a robust fabric that is extremely durable
and tear resistant, ensuring you have a quality case solution for many years
to come. The expandable section, front pouch, and case closure feature YYK
zippers for smooth, easy open & close and solid retention of your

Versatile Design, Easy Carry Options
This case
provides a snug, secure fit with a variety of telescopes thanks to its
versatile design. With an expandable 4" section, the main compartment can
extend to cover longer telescope designs like the Classic Cass, or compact
designs like the SCT and RC with some accessories installed. Four 0.79"
thick foam pads allow you to tune the fit for your specific setup. Once your
scope is safely sealed inside the Apertura Padded Soft Case, simply grab it
by the convenient carry handle or sling it over your shoulder with the
duffle-bag style shoulder strap. With robust strapping and solid stitching,

Known to Fit
This case is designed to fit 8”
Ritchey-Chrétien (RC) telescopes, Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (SCT), and
Classical Cassegrain telescopes. It is known to fit the original Apertura 8"
RC and Apertura 8" CarbonStar RC telescopes, along with Apertura's 8"
Classical Cassegrain telescope. From Celestron, this bag is confirmed to fit
their 8" SCT, 8SE, 8" EdgeHD, and 8" Evolution (OTAs only), with or without
typical visual accessories or imaging adapters attached. This case is also
confirmed to fit popular 8" SCT and SCF optical tubes from Meade.
