The Apertura SCT finder shoe is based off the functional design of the Apertura Premium Finder Shoe Version II. However, this version of the Apertura finder shoe is a perfect accessory for those amateur astronomers who own SCTs!

The center slot is 26 mm center-to-center, so telescopes that have a distance between the screw holes of 26 mm down to around 10mm center-to-center (depending on the hardware used) can use this shoe. The side-to-side slots can accommodate scopes with screws spaced between 51 mm to around 15.6 mm apart.

The design of the Apertura SCT finder shoe has been designed specifically for reinforced rigidity. This body design is both uniquely stylized and functional!
Increased Base Thickness
The body of this finder shoe from Apertura has been designed with a thick and wide base to accommodate larger telescopes. The shoe is designed specifically to work with Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes.
Wide Slots
The slots of the Apertura SCT finder shoe have been reinforced in order to keep the finder shoe both lightweight and strong. The widening of the hardware and dovetail slots provides more hardware and accessory compatibility.
