This sturdy, aluminum tripod sits at a petite 17" when fully collapsed for storage and weighs just over three pounds. Yet, it is able to be fully expanded to a height of up to 49.37 inches and support a total payload of 55 pounds! That's quite a feat! Speaking of feet, this tripod includes two sets of interchangeable feet suited for either soft or hard surfaces. For soft surfaces such as gravel or grass, there is a set of spiked, metal feet to stabilize the tripod on unstable ground. For hard surfaces, a set of rubberized feet are included that also help to dampen vibration, keeping your views steady, whether through an eyepiece or camera lens. The aluminum legs of the V2 Compact Aluminum Tripod each have four telescoping segments to allow for precise height adjustment and compact storage.

Complete with a dual thread, this tripod includes the standard 3/8"-16 mounting stud that is also compatible with mounts that have a 1/4"-20 thread!
