Turn Your Askar 65PHQ Astrograph into an f/4.8 System with This Askar 0.75x Full-Frame Reducer

For owners of the Askar 65PHQ f/6.4 APO Quintuplet Astrograph OTA comes the 0.75x full-frame reducer from Askar! This reducer, when combined with the 65PHQ astrograph, can effectively reduce exposure time while dramatically increasing the field of view.

This reducer boasts a quadruplet lens design and will reduce the focal ratio of your system to f/4.8 and shorten the focal length to 312 mm.

A Quadruplet Lens Configuration for High Quality Reducing

The 0.75x full-frame reducer from Askar reduces both the focal ratio and focal length of your Askar 65PHQ astrograph system. The backfocus is 55 mm, which is standard for most astrophotography applications. This reducer comes with an M58x0.75 female thread on the astrograph side, and two adapters on the camera side: an M54x0.75 adapter ring, and an M48x0.75 adapter ring. The M48 also includes M48x0.75 2" filter threads to hold a mounted 2" round filter.

The Specifications Needed for Astrophotography
Take your Askar 65PHQ astrograph to the next level with this Askar reducer. This 0.75x reducer features a quadruple lens design and creates an f/4.8 focal ratio and 312 mm focal length for your 65PHQ system. This results in shortened exposure lengths and an increased field of view for your astrophotography.

Easy Installation and Versatile Connection Options
To install the 0.75x reducer on the Askar 65PHQ astrograph, simply unscrew the eyepiece base at the end of the 65PHQ tube. Next, unscrew the end cap of the reducer, insert the reducer into the inner tube of the 65PHQ's focuser and tighten. Voila! In addition to the easy installation, this reducer comes with M54 and M48 adapter rings to install cameras or other accessories. The M48 adapter ring is also threaded to accept 2" threaded filters.
