Upgrade Your Askar FR400C Refractor with this Reducer!

Looking to enhance your Askar FRA400C experience? This 0.7x reducer is the perfect solution! Offering expanded views of the night sky, enjoy resolving large, sweeping scenes of nebulosity and other cosmic vistas. The triplet design and full-frame, flat imaging field delivers quality consistent with the high performance Askar FRA400C, making it a valuable addition for those seeking a wider field of view.

A 0.7x reduction rate brings the native focal length of 400 mm down to 280 mm. This not only increases your scope of vision, but enables faster light collection thanks to the speedier f/3.9 focal ratio! With more signal gathered per given exposure time, you can expect a higher signal-to-noise ratio for better defined detail within your frames. Installation of this Askar FRA600C 0.7x Reducer is effortless, and the industry standard of 55 mm of backfocus makes camera attachment a piece of cake.

A High-Quality Upgrade to Make the Most Out of Your Astro-Imaging

This 0.7x Reducer is a great way to widen the field of view of your Askar FRA400C refractor, opening the doors to increased imaging opportunities! Read on as we dive deeper into the aspects of this must-have Askar FRA400C accessory.

Built for Preicision
Designed specifically for the Askar FRA400C, this reducer is designed with the same quality craftsmanship, providing superb color correction and sharp detail. This optical accessory includes three internal lens elements and provides a flat imaging field across the rated 44 mm image circle. From the base of the M48 male thread found on the rear, 55 mm of backfocus is needed for proper performance. There is also a 2” filter adapter built within this reducer for seamless filter attachment!

Installation Instruction
Installing this reducer is quick and easy. First, remove the four piece photographic adapter from the Askar FRA400C by rotating it counterclockwise. Next, remove the dust cap on the reducer, and screw it onto the rear of your telescope. Attach your imaging equipment to the M48 male threads of this reducer, ensuring your camera sensor is 55 mm away for proper focus. You’re now all set to image!
