Dew Shields - Not Heated

 
 

Unheated or heated, dew shields actively resist the moisture that, on humid, chilly nights, tends to condense on telescope lenses. The traditional non-heated dew shield acts as a protective visor, extending beyond the front cell of the telescope to decrease radiative heat loss and to block out unwanted light, resulting in improved contrast.
