More About the Baader 90º 2" Prism Star Diagonal
The Baader Planetarium 2" Star Diagonal is a quality piece of astronomical equipment, from the finely machined aluminum housing to the prism, which was made for this Baader diagonal to Zeiss specifications . The famous Baader 7-Layer Multi-Coatings ensure the image is bright and contrasty. The 2" clicklock eyepiece holder includes two thumbscrews to lock your eyepiece securely in the holder without slippage. The telescope side of the diagonal features a 2" nosepiece, allowing insertion into a standard 2" focuser or rear cell adapter. Both the eyepiece holder and the nosepiece can be removed to expose SCT male and female threads, respectively. This allows you to adapt the prism base with the addition of a wide range of adapters and components, including the Baader Click-Lock System and the T-2 System.
Please Note: This diagonal does not come with a 1.25" Adapter. If you wish to use 1.25" eyepieces or other barreled accessories in this 2" Star Diagonal, you will need to acquire a 2" to 1.25" Adapter.
